The Coordinated Assistance Network (CAN) Registration

To Join the Network

Register your agency and designate a Point of Contact (POC) using this online form and a link to step 2 will be emailed to you automatically.

  1. Submit your tax-exempt letter (if applicable) and the CAN Participation Agreement with signatures from both your agency and your American Red Cross Chapter, who acts as CAN's fiscal agent.
This online registration has three components:
  1. Agency Information
  2. Contact Information
  3. Reference Information *not required for local affiliates of national agencies

Upon completion of the online registration:

  • Save the confirmation code for your records
  • Print the summary page for your records
  • A confirmation e-mail will be generated with a link to two agreements for participation and access
  • Choose the agreement right for your agency:

    Case Management Agency Participation
    If your non-profit agency is providing Disaster Case Management, and would like to participate in CAN for case management, have your agency's leadership review and complete the Case Management Agency Participation Packet.

    Resource Agency Participation
    If your agency would like access to the other CAN tools, such as Resource Database, Calendar, Forums, and Library, but are not eligible for case management access, your agency's leadership should complete the Resource Participation Packet.

  • Complete the agreement fully, remembering to include your agency's or fiscal agents Tax Exempt letter or proof of Non-Governmental status.
  • Contact your American Red Cross Chapter for their signature on the agreement
  • Fax it to CAN at 866-810-4526.

User Registration
If your agency is a current CAN participating Agency, individuals who need a username and password should click Register Me on the User Registration page. They are encouraged to sign up for the online training while waiting for authorization. Training information and schedule can be found here.
